Volleyball Recap: Crossroads Christian Academy Falls to Appling Christian Academy in First Game of Season

Crossroads Christian Academy kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the Appling Christian Academy Eagles. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-8.

Appling Christian Academy's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crossroads Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Heritage Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Appling Christian Academy, they will head out to face off against Faith Baptist Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
