Tyree Stingley leads a balanced attack to beat Alchesay

Recap: Page Sand Devils vs. Alchesay Falcons

The Page Sand Devils entered their tilt with the Alchesay Falcons with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Page snuck past Alchesay with a 60-55 victory on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Page to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyree Stingley, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 17 rebounds. Stingley has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Maximus Reid, who scored 16 points along with three steals.

Page has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Alchesay, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.

Page and Chinle will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Chinle is ranked 125th, while Page is ranked 131st). As for Alchesay, they will head out on the road to challenge Monument Valley at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Monument Valley is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.
