Volleyball Recap: Collins Hill Comes Up Short

Collins Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Archer Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

Archer can attribute much of their success to Jayana Castro, who had seven digs and four aces. That's the most aces Castro has posted since back in October of 2024.

Collins Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Archer, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Collins Hill is taking a road trip to challenge Grayson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Archer, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against North Gwinnett on the 21st.
