Parkway Central came tearing into Saturday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Mehlville Panthers by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on Wednesday.

Sophia Fischer paced Parkway Central's offense, picking up six kills. Fischer got some help from Taylor Jesse and her eight assists. Tessa Wall controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Parkway Central's victory bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Mehlville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Parkway Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 1-1 tie against Parkway West on the 11th. As for Mehlville, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Troy-Buchanan on the 11th.
