Softball Recap: Tascosa Has No Trouble Against Palo Duro

Tascosa's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on the Palo Duro Dons with a sharp 15-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Dons: they've now won nine in a row.

Kaylei San Miguel was incredible, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Reece Corea, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Tascosa's win bumped their record up to 14-15. As for Palo Duro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-12.

Coming up, Tascosa will welcome Coronado at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Palo Duro, they will head out to square off against Monterey at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
