Elizabeth Seton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Catholic, who was ranked 17th in their home state at the time (Elizabeth Seton was ranked sixth). Elizabeth Seton narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Catholic 62-60.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Paul VI faced off against Bishop Ireton on Tuesday. Paul VI had to suffer through a 79-51 loss at the hands of Bishop Ireton. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered since December 7, 2024.

The defeat snapped Paul VI's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-5 record. As for Elizabeth Seton, their victory bumped their record up to 13-3.

Elizabeth Seton and Paul VI were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but Elizabeth Seton came up empty-handed after a 53-52 loss. Can Elizabeth Seton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
