It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Green can now relate to. They came up short against the Newark Catholic Green Wave on Wednesday, falling 7-1. The Bobcats' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Green saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Kimbler, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Green's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Newark Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.

Green does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Newark Catholic, they will challenge South Webster at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Green Wave 2.4, the Jeeps 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
