It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pace Academy had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Northside Patriots a 4-0 shutout. Considering Pace Academy have won 11 games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Northside with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alexa Ibarra, Anna Kate Shelton, Maya Reiss, and Carlin Beaver.

Pace Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those six contests. As for Northside, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-4.

As of now, neither Pace Academy nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
