Perry won the last time they faced Hydro-Eakly and things went their way on Saturday too. Perry put the hurt on Hydro-Eakly with a sharp 15-7 victory. Considering the Maroons have won seven matches by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Perry and bumps their season record up to 8-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Hydro-Eakly, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

Coming up, Perry will welcome Alva at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hydro-Eakly, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Drummond on the 22nd.
