Basketball Preview: Jackson Heights Cobras vs. Pleasant Ridge Rams
The Jackson Heights Cobras will square off against the Pleasant Ridge Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jackson Heights has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Jackson Heights is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on Horton with a sharp 75-50 victory on Tuesday. The Cobras not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since January 2nd (when they won 57-32).
Meanwhile, Pleasant Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. Layton continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Hockett, who posted five points in addition to ten boards and four blocks.

The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points over those games.
