Swartz Creek got their first taste of in-conference action on Monday and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Kearsley Hornets.

Swartz Creek picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-3-2. As for Kearsley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Swartz Creek will venture away from home to challenge Linden at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Swartz Creek will be up against Linden's rather soft defense (which has allowed five goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Kearsley, they will take on Holly at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Holly's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
