Hanover got themselves on the board against King George on Friday, but King George never followed suit. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 victory over the Foxes. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Foxes recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Hanover's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for King George, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hanover will challenge Mechanicsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for King George, they will host Brooke Point at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
