Glenbard West extended the longest winning streak in West Suburban - Silver this week by beating Downers Grove North, 26-0. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
Hinsdale Central's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Red Devils feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brian Owens has thrown for 2023 yards and 17 touchdowns this season, while John Claussen has 29 catches for 536 yards. Jack Adams leads the league in rushing with 960 yards.
Hinsdale Central's Adams is a mere 40 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Red Devils take on Oak Park-River Forest. At the moment, Hinsdale Central is in second, while John Hoerster's team is in fourth.
Lyons took down Leyden 49-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
