Basketball Recap: Profile Comes Up Short

If Profile was feeling good fresh off their 55-32 takedown of Blue Mountain last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Profile Patriots fell just short of the Woodsville Engineers by a score of 42-39 on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked 50th, while the Engineers are ranked first).

Profile has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Woodsville, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 18-0.

Looking ahead, Profile will head out to take on Littleton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Woodsville, they will square off against Groveton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
