St. John Paul II Catholic extended their road winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Janey Lopez. The St. John Paul II Catholic Lions came out on top against the Trivium Prep Crimson Knights by a score of 24-15 on Friday thanks in part to Lopez, who posted 12 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of St. John Paul II Catholic's points.

When it comes to explaining why Trivium Prep lost, don't look at Coby Luekenga. Despite the final result, she earned eight points and ten rebounds. Luekenga is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least nine every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Hager, who had five points and six steals.

St. John Paul II Catholic's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Trivium Prep, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

St. John Paul II Catholic has already played their next contest, a 57-14 loss against Glendale Prep Academy on the 16th. As for Trivium Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 45-22 victory against Heritage Academy on the 13th.
