Patrick Henry Academy came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on September 9th.

The victory didn't come easy: St. John's Christian Academy scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 27-25, 23-25, 25-20.

Kinley Cook paced Patrick Henry Academy's offense, picking up 22 kills. Cook got some help from Emilee Stanley and her 42 assists. Sara Guty controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Patrick Henry Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for St. John's Christian Academy, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5.

Coming up, Patrick Henry Academy will challenge Laurence Manning Academy at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. John's Christian Academy, they will square off against Cathedral Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
