Basketball Game Preview: Glenbard South Raiders vs. St. Francis Spartans

The Glenbard South Raiders will challenge the St. Francis Spartans at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Glenbard South is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.

On Thursday, Glenbard South blew past Fenton, posting a 64-19 win. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for St. Francis, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They took down De La Salle 61-43 on Thursday. The Spartans pushed the score to 53-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Meteors cut but never quite recovered from.

Glenbard South's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.1 points per game. As for St. Francis, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-14.
