The Atlantic Coast Stingrays will take on the ED White Commanders at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, everything came up roses for Atlantic Coast against Andrew Jackson as the squad secured a 33-6 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Stingrays.

Rocco Manago had a dynamite game, throwing for 240 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and also punching in one touchdown on the ground. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (156.3). Atlantic Coast's leading receiver Ethan Redding was Manago's top target yet again, picking up 138 receiving yards and one score.
Atlantic Coast's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Larry Smith, Cameron Murphy, and Jayden Cross, who each picked up one sack apiece. Smith was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making eight total tackles.
Meanwhile, ED White suffered their closest loss since September 30, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Merritt Island by a score of 52-49. The loss was the Commanders' first of the season.
The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in King Boylston and Kevin Verpaele. Verpaele had a great game and threw for 336 yards and five TDs while completing 75% of his passes. Meanwhile, Boylston was balling out in the loss, rushing for 115 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 185 yards and three TDs on only 14 passes.
Atlantic Coast now has a winning record of 3-2. As for ED White, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
