Baseball Game Preview: Greenville Yellow Jackets vs. Lowell Red Arrows

For the second straight game, Greenville will face off against Lowell. The Yellow Jackets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Red Arrows at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Greenville turned things around against Lowell on Monday. They blew past the Red Arrows 10-4. The high-scoring effort was just what the Yellow Jackets needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Noah Long was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Greenville: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 13-15 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Lisagor, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Greenville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lowell only posted an OBP of .344.

Lowell's defeat dropped their record down to 21-9-1. As for Greenville, their win bumped their record up to 18-15.
