Cloverleaf's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Streetsboro Rockets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-1 back in April.

Kennedy Bailey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on six hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Caroline Sitko, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Willig, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Cloverleaf's record now sits at 12-10. As for Streetsboro, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Cloverleaf and Streetsboro are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Colts will take on Villa Angela-St. Joseph at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Streetsboro, they will face off against Coventry at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
