Volleyball Recap: Ashbrook Takes a Loss

Ashbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Crest Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-9, 25-6.

Crest found their leader in sophomore Casey Goodrum, who had ten digs and two assists.

Ashbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Crest, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-13.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Ashbrook will face off against rival Huss at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Crest is set to take on their familiar foe Kings Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
