Preble Shawnee and Tri-Village are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. The Arrows will head out to face off against the Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Preble Shawnee can't be too happy about their upcoming road matchup considering what happened when they opened their season away from home back in April. They came up short against Tri-County North, falling 15-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Arrows have suffered against the Panthers since April 30, 2015.

Gavin Schmidt made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Tri-Village not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 6, 2024 (when they won 17-0). Their pitchers stepped up to hand Bradford a 13-0 shutout. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Preble Shawnee suffered a grim 13-1 defeat to Tri-Village in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Arrows avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
