Brandywine suffered their closest loss since April 12th on Thursday. They fell just short of the Edwardsburg Eddies by a score of 4-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Eddies: they've now lost six in a row.

Kaeden Warfield made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. He has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last 14 times he's played.

Brandywine's loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Edwardsburg, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-11.
