Softball Game Preview: Washougal Panthers vs. R.A. Long Lumberjacks

Washougal is 1-9 against R.A. Long since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Panthers will welcome the Lumberjacks at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Washougal came up short against Hockinson on Monday, falling 23-13.

Stella Genova was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Saige Trask was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases.

Meanwhile, R.A. Long fell victim to Columbia River and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 15-0 to the Rapids. The Lumberjacks haven't had much luck with the Rapids recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Washougal's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for R.A. Long, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1.
