Volleyball Recap: Elm Creek Takes a Loss

Elm Creek lost against Loomis back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Buffaloes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves. The Buffaloes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-11.

Chelsea Kottich paced Elm Creek's offense, picking up eight kills. Kottich got some help from Ava Hellriegel and her 15 assists.

Addison Perry was the offensive standout of the contest as she had seven digs and three aces. Clydie Kegley also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Elm Creek's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Loomis, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Elm Creek will face off against Omaha Christian at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Loomis, they will square off against Arapahoe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
