Basketball Recap: Eastern Alamance Comes Up Short

Eastern Alamance was the 48-35 winner over Cedar Ridge when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Eastern Alamance Eagles fell 47-35 to the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves on Thursday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cedar Ridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elliott Weisenfeld, who went 5 for 9 on her way to 13 points. Weisenfeld continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Kate Finnegan was another key player, putting up seven points and six rebounds.

Eastern Alamance's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Cedar Ridge, their record now sits at 7-11.
