Hunter Earl posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Earl and Jasper will head out on the road to challenge Drexel at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
