Basketball Game Preview: Keith Bears vs. Johnson Eagles

The Keith Bears will square off against the Johnson Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If Keith beats Johnson with 50 points on Thursday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. Keith breezed by University Charter to the tune of 50-14 on Tuesday. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Johnson strolled past Linden with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 57-41. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Keith pushed their record up to 15-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for Johnson, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Keith barely slipped by Johnson in their previous matchup two weeks ago, winning 53-52. Does Keith have another victory up their sleeve, or will Johnson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
