Pacelli had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Weyauwega-Fremont Warhawks with a sharp 12-4 win. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Warhawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Lucas Haemmerle was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Haemmerle was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Tomas Uemura was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-5. Another player making a difference was Jaden Garski, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Pacelli and Weyauwega-Fremont will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Cardinals are set to take on their familiar foe Pittsville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Weyauwega-Fremont will face off against rival Manawa at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
