East faced Thunder Basin in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Thunderbirds enjoyed a cozy 31-14 win over the Bolts. The victory continues a trend for the Thunderbirds in their matchups with the Bolts: they've now won five in a row.

Despite the loss, Thunder Basin still got an impressive performance from Hadley Hudson, who picked up 47 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 65 yards on only nine carries.

East's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Thunder Basin, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
