Grapevine is a perfect 9-0 against Ryan since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Grapevine Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Ryan Raiders at 6:30 p.m. Ryan took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Grapevine, who comes in off a win.

It looked like the Kentucky Derby when Grapevine duked it out with Denton on Tuesday. Grapevine came out on top against Denton by a score of 3-1. The Mustangs' winning goal came courtesy of Makena Kerr.

Meanwhile, Ryan managed to keep up with Richland until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Ryan lost 4-1 to Richland. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ryan's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Grapevine, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.

Everything went Grapevine's way against Ryan in their previous meeting on February 4th, as Grapevine made off with a 4-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Grapevine since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
