Soccer Recap: Hillside Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Hillside was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against the East Chapel Hill Wildcats, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Hillside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 326th, while East Chapel Hill are ranked 114th).

Hillside's loss dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for East Chapel Hill, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 7-4-1.

Hillside wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 5-0 win against Cristo Rey Research Triangle on the 16th. As for East Chapel Hill, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Riverside-Durham on the 17th.
