Baseball Recap: Ninety Six Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Ninety Six faced off against Landrum on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 4-3. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Ninety Six has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season. As for Landrum, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-7.

As of now, neither Ninety Six nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
