Ronan is a perfect 10-0 against Libby since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Ronan Chiefs just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Libby Loggers at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Ronan came up short against Columbia Falls and fell 50-40.

Meanwhile, Libby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were beaten by Bigfork 60-17. While losing is never fun, the Loggers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 137th, while the Vikings & Valkyries are ranked 21st).

Libby's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Ronan, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Ronan against Libby when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 61-28 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ronan since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
