Volleyball Recap: Fruitport Trojans vs. Calvin Christian Squires

After flying high against Kelloggsville last Thursday, Fruitport came back down to earth. The Fruitport Trojans fell just short of the Calvin Christian Squires by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. While the Trojans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Squires 25-15 in the first set.

Fruitport actually scored more points across those five sets (104-88), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-21, 8-25, 25-23, 15-10.

As for Calvin Christian, they will head out to take on Kelloggsville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
