Football Game Preview: North Gwinnett Bulldogs vs. Duluth Wildcats + Official Tickets

North Gwinnett is a perfect 8-0 against Duluth since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. North Gwinnett is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games.

North Gwinnett is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Norcross: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Bulldogs blew the Blue Devils out of the water with a 44-6 final score. Considering the Bulldogs have won six contests by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

North Gwinnett got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Elam Rahman out in front who threw for 135 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 32 yards. That's the most rushing yards Rahman has posted since back in November of 2024. Kalil Mazone was another key rusher, gaining 65 total yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Duluth played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Brookwood 57-27. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 57-14.

North Gwinnett will have to contain Shamar Banner as he made an impact in Duluth's last game. He rushed for 72 yards and two scores on only eight carries, and also threw for 257 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 11.2 yards per attempt.

North Gwinnett's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Duluth, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Everything came up roses for North Gwinnett against Duluth when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 50-7 victory. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
