Volleyball Game Preview: Whitinsville Christian Crusaders vs. Ashland Clockers

Whitinsville Christian is 2-8 against Ashland since September of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Crusaders will head out to square off against the Clockers at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Whitinsville Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Burncoat.

Meanwhile, Ashland got the win against Dedham on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Clockers.

Ashland walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-12, 25-23.

Whitinsville Christian's record now sits at 8-5. As for Ashland, their record is now 9-6.

Whitinsville Christian might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Ashland when the teams last played back in October of 2021. Can the Crusaders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
