Softball Recap: Fremont Falls Short of South Central in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fremont can now relate to. They came up short against the South Central Satellites on Tuesday, falling 9-0. The Eagles were red-hot at the plate heading into the game (they scored no less than ten runs in the four contests prior), but the Satellites' pitcher proved too tough.

The loss snapped Fremont's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-12 record. As for South Central, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-6-1.
