Baseball Recap: Cherokee Has No Trouble Against Kingsway

It's playoff time, and Cherokee had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Kingsway Dragons 11-1 on Tuesday. The Chiefs haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Henry Radbill spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on one hit and racked up 12 Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jason Brown, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

Cherokee hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive contests.

Cherokee's record now sits at 24-3. As for Kingsway, the loss snapped their winning streak at ten games and leaves them with a 21-7-1 record.

As of now, neither Cherokee nor the Dragons have any future games scheduled.
