Softball Recap: North East Carolina Prep Takes a Loss

North East Carolina Prep lost against Martin County last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. North East Carolina Prep lost 13-6 to Martin County. The Husky have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Katelyn Knox made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

North East Carolina Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Martin County, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 11-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. North East Carolina Prep will challenge rival Gates County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Martin County is set to face off against their familiar foe Bertie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
