Football Recap: Avalon Comes Up Short

Avalon lost against Faith Baptist back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lancers took a 20-15 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Contenders.

Avalon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Faith Baptist, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Avalon will be playing in front of their home fans against Vista Meridian at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Lancers will be up against the Meridian Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 46 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Faith Baptist, they are taking a road trip to square off against Cate at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
