Basketball Recap: Brentwood Takes a Loss

Brentwood was the 52-39 winner over Bayless when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Brentwood Eagles fell 43-36 to the Bayless Bronchos on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brentwood's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-5. As for Bayless, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

Looking ahead, Brentwood will head out on the road to take on Gateway Science Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bayless, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 39-6 win against Hancock on the 6th.
