Baseball Recap: Bishop Blanchet Takes a Loss

Bishop Blanchet managed to slip by O'Dea the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bears came up short against the Fighting Irish on Thursday, falling 9-2. The Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Fighting Irish earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Bishop Blanchet's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for O'Dea, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Blanchet will square off against Ingraham at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The last four games the Rams have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for O'Dea, they will take on Lincoln at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lynx will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Fighting Irish surely won't give up without a fight.
