Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Prep Comes Up Short

Notre Dame Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Arizona College Prep Knights, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 25-13.

Arizona College Prep can attribute much of their success to Cooper Aron, who had 16 assists and two blocks. Those two blocks gave Aron a new career-high. Isaac Spendlove also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.

Notre Dame Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Arizona College Prep, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Notre Dame Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Canyon View on the 21st. As for Arizona College Prep, they will take on Campo Verde at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Campo Verde will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Arizona College Prep surely won't give up without a fight.
