Softball Recap: Thorp Find Success

Thorp won the last time they faced Chequamegon and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cardinals walked away with a 12-7 victory over the Screaming Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

Thorp's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Chequamegon, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Thorp has already played their next contest, an 8-0 victory against Athens on the 10th. As for Chequamegon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hurley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Northstars will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Screaming Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
