Basketball Recap: Parkland's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

Parkland and Imhotep Charter squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Parkland had to settle for second. They lost to the Imhotep Charter Panthers on the road by a 48-30 margin. The match marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

With the defeat, Parkland broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points over those games. As for Imhotep Charter, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record this season.
