Soccer Game Preview: Winamac vs. Westville

The Winamac Warriors are taking a road trip to face off against the Westville Blackhawks at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Winamac is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.

Winamac took a seven-goal loss the last time they faced off against Rochester, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Warriors won by a goal and slipped past the Zebras 3-2. Winamac better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Sean Stark, as he scored every single goal for his team.

Meanwhile, Westville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Kouts, falling 5-2.

Winamac has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those five contests. As for Westville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
