It was fun while it lasted, but Palm Valley's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves. The loss was the FIREBIRDS' first of the season.

Alex Ratner paced Palm Valley's offense, picking up six kills. Ratner got some help from Evan Wang and his five assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, Palm Valley fell to 3-1. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Palm Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Temecula Prep on the 8th. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School on the 8th.
