Liberty entered their tilt with Independence on Friday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Knights 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Redhawks: when they faced off against the Knights  back in September, they had to take a  3-2  defeat.
 The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12,  25-19.
 Jaiden Harris paced Liberty's offense, picking up 19 kills. Harris got some help from  Riley Wong and her 19 assists. Finally,  Allison Tredwell kept Liberty's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.
Liberty's win bumped their record up to 29-4. As for Independence, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Liberty will  square off against  rival Memorial  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Independence is set to  take on  their familiar foe Frisco  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
