Soccer Recap: Kings Takes a Loss

Kings was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Lebanon Warriors. While losing is never fun, Kings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 297th, while Lebanon are ranked 111th).

Kings' goal came courtesy of Natalie Land, which was the first she's scored this season.

Kings' defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-2. As for Lebanon, they pushed their record up to 7-4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Kings will challenge Archbishop Alter at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kings will need to watch out since Archbishop Alter has now posted at least four goals in their last three contests. As for Lebanon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Turpin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Turpin's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
